Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026. WordCraft Guide (wordcraft01.online) is an informational guide site. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it, in plain terms.
What we collect
Analytics: we use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful — things like page views and referrers. This data is aggregated and never sold.
Cookies: the site may set a small number of cookies for basic functionality, such as remembering display preferences, and our analytics may use cookies to count visits. You can block cookies in your browser; the site will still work.
Content you submit: if you post a community report, discussion, or comment, that text — and any name or handle you choose to display — becomes public on the site. Do not post personal information such as your real name, email address, phone number, or location.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We do not run user accounts, newsletters, or advertising profiles. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13; if you believe a child has posted personal information here, flag it through the community reports and we will remove it.
Third-party links
Our guides link to official project pages (for example, getartcraft.com) and code repositories. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which apply once you leave ours. We are not responsible for their practices.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Data retention
Analytics data is kept in aggregated form for as long as it remains useful for understanding readership, typically no more than 26 months. Community posts and comments remain visible until removed — either by you (flag your own post and we will take it down) or by us for policy violations.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data associated with you, and to object to certain processing. Because we do not run accounts, the practical way to exercise this is to contact us through the community reports: describe the content and we will act on it. We will never ask you to prove identity beyond what is needed to locate the content.
Security
We take reasonable technical measures to protect the site, but no system is perfectly secure. The best protection for your privacy here is minimalism: use a handle rather than your real name, and never post contact details publicly.
